About Us
Having been in construction his entire life and owning his own framing company for more than twenty years, Kevin Northcutt has participated in thousands of builds. Starting out as a young subcontractor competing to secure work Kevin learned that he had more to offer his builders than simple labor and know-how in order to be successful. Through a true desire to serve the needs of his builders, Kevin began to offer an experience and service that goes beyond nailing sticks together. Trust developed and builders noticed that problems and friction disappeared from the job site when Kevin’s crews were there.
Over the years Kevin has worked for hundreds of different builders and has participated in thousands of projects. From building small pasture sheds to multi-million dollar homes, to deca-million dollar apartment complexes and everything in between Kevin has experienced what the construction world has to offer. He has participated and helped build a generation’s worth of homes as a framing subcontractor and in 2022 launched Southern Oak Custom Homes to lead in building the next generation of homes. Southern Oak Custom Homes brings reps and battle tested experience to all of our builds.
Beyond the construction and completion of high quality homes, Southern Oak Custom Homes aims to deliver a better build experience to all homeowners from our first contact all the way to move-in day and beyond.
