Ponder the function bedrooms will serve in your home before deciding their size and placement in the home. Do you want your children isolated at the far end of the home? Do you want bedrooms clustered together around a common play space?

Before you build, consider design elements you might desire: bed size, window placement, window treatments, side tables, TV and entertainment components, additional chair/ sofa, desk space, vaulted ceilings, closet design, etc.
